Our Technology

We've developed PORTAL, a deployable vertiport, with integrated dynamic sensor and operational control system.  When deployed, this enables drones/eVTOLs to launch and land autonomously in complex and dynamic environments. 

 

The SLiNK Cloud proprietary management system allows remote management of PORTAL locations from anywhere in the world, and the system connects to the wider future flight ecosystem through an API.  

 

PORTAL can be deployed temporarily or installed as permanent large-scale infrastructure and supports vehicles from small delivery drones to large passenger air-taxis.

How does PORTAL fit in the Future Flight Ecosystem?

1. PORTAL launch

PORTAL connects to vehicles for pre-flight checks and automated scheduling, calculating a suitable departure flight plan for the full end-to-end mission.

2. On transit

Guidance is provided by UTM services. PORTAL queries the UTM service for regular updates, and provides vertiport availability and status updates as frequently as required.

3. PORTAL approach

Drone and air-taxis connect to  PORTAL air-traffic control to receive trajectory guidance, accurate navigational aid and uninterrupted PORTAL situational awareness.
